Oil marketers drum up support for Buhari’s policy on petroleum pricing

National President, Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Chief Lawson Obasi has called on members to support Federal Government policy on liberalisation  of petroleum industry for the advancement of the country.

Addressing newsmen in Lagos, Lawson said, “I want to say that the Federal Government policy on the liberalisation of the petroleum industry that we should work assiduously to support that policy.

“And to uphold that policy to ensure we collaborate with all stakeholders in the industry to move the policy of government forward.”

He expressed hope that the peace that has returned to the association would be in favour of all the marketers and nation in terms of the supply and distribution of petroleum products.

Obasi challenged members to extend an olive branch to all aggrieved members of the association within their domain that were yet to return to their fold.
