As reported by the New York Times, American rapper and G.O.O.D Music boss, Kanye West is expected to have a meeting with US President with Donald Trump and son-in-law/senior adviser Jared Kushner on Thursday (October 11).

According to a representative for Kanye who confirmed the meeting to the NYT, the father of 3 will reportedly first meet with Kushner then have lunch with 45.

Kanye will be meeting with Kushner, who has been attempting to overhaul the criminal justice system, and they’ll discuss among other things, job opportunities for former convicts, a source briefed on the appointment confirmed.

With Trump, ‘Ye wants to talk about how to increase the number of manufacturing jobs in his hometown of Chicago.

Kanye and Trump share a cordial relationship and since the coming into power, the rapper has seemingly alienated (and infuriated) some of his colleagues and fans by aligning himself with the heavily criticised leader.

Late last month, Kanye appeared on Saturday Night Live spoting a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat. After the show ended, he proceeded to go on a pro-Trump rant with longtime SNL actor Kenan Thompson saying it felt like the rapper was holding the cast “hostage.”
