The leadership of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC) has officially released the results of the lection conducted into the 20 local governments and 37 local council development areas on Saturday.
According to a statement issued by the commission on Monday, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) won all the available 57 chairmanship seats in an election that twelve political parties participated in.
According to the statement obtained by BLACKFACE on Monday, the results are as already announced by Returning Officers at each of the Ward Collation Centres and Local Government/ Local Council Development Area Collation Centres.
Giving a breakdown of the results, the statement said, APC won all the 57 Chairmanship seats while it also won 369 Councillorship seats leaving the main opposition party the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with our Councillorship seats while Accord party won three councillorship seats.
The statement said the PDP won councillorship seats in Agege, Itire Ikate LCDA Ikorodu LGA , Oriade LCDA.
