Mr Iroju Ogundeji  emerges deputy speaker unopposed.
The jumoke Akindele faction of the legislators were absent at the plenary.
Meanwhile, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is making moves to force the reversal of the election of new leadership of the Ondo State House of Assembly.
The governor was said to have been enraged by the decision of 13 members of the Malachi Coker faction to elect new principal officers ahead of the reconciliation meeting scheduled for today.
Already, the SSA to the governor on Legislative Matters, Hon. Abdusalam Taofeek, has allegedly been directed by the governor to move for the reversal of the election.
It was learnt that the Clerk of the House of Assembly has also allegedly been asked not to record the election of the new leadership.
The governor was said to have allegedly contacted the Commissioner of Police in the state to be at alert for a possible sealing of the Assembly chamber.
Akeredolu had given the nod for the Coker faction of the Assembly to sit this morning to approve his list of caretaker chairmen for the 18 local government areas of the state.
Unknown to him, however, the lawmakers decided to use the opportunity to effect a change of leadership, which the governor has now kicked against.
