The Publicity Secretary of the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Omoba Abayomi Adesanya has said the incoming administration of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu will harness the naturally endowed resources in the state to better the lots of the people.
Adesanya lamented that the case of Ondo State is liken to that of the people who live beside an ocean but still remain thirsty.
The APC spokesman spoke in Akure, the State capital where he was honored with an award of the spokesperson of the year, by an Ondo state based Magazine.
Another Chieftain of the party, Hon. Dele Ologun was also honoured by the same Magazine as the “Youths Ambassador of the Year”
Adesanya said that the party would be firm and resolute in actualising its campaign promises in spite of the current economic downturn.
“Ondo state residents will not be disappointed for voting for APC and as far as the party is concerned, its manifestoes will be adhered to strictly,” he said.
Adesanya said that several committees had been set up by the governor-elect, to ensure that the party did not renege on its promises.
Also, Ologun said the incoming administration would not depend on federal allocation but look inward to generate sufficient funds to finance its projects.
“Akeredolu government will invest heavily in agriculture to generate revenue and not rely on monthly allocation from Federal Government”.
