The Ekiti State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused its rival, the All Progressives Congress (APC) of feeding the public with lies on the alleged diversion of the Paris Club funds.
Publicity Secretary of the PDP in the state, Jackson Adebayo, in a reaction said the allegations against Governor Ayo Fayose “has further confirmed that the APC is peopled by confused and ignorant minds who will fail in any economic question even at the simplest level of kindergarten.”
APC has also vindicated Nigerians who had hitherto believed that the part is only established on propaganda with mastery of concoction of destructive falsehood.
“This is the same APC that has given figures like 84 Billion Naira, 48 Billion Naira and 14 Billion Naira as the amount collected by the governor from the Paris Club over deduction within the space of two months but now coming out with another bundle of lies that what is accrued to the state has been diverted by the governor again.
“To say that those who manage APC are too lazy is not enough but they are set of illiterate crooks who wouldn’t be ashamed or feel remorseful when displaying the stupidity in their releases.
“One would need to ask the APC which of their early figures has been made correct by the Federal Ministry of Finance before asking them when was the amount released for Ekiti State was diverted.
“We implored the Labour Unions in Ekiti State to just ignore the enfant terrible called APC because raising issues with them is just like dancing with mad men in the market place.”
PDP stressed that the attack on the Labour unions was because the unions have refused to kowtow to the APC which it accused of habouring plans to destabilize Ekiti State adding that the opposition was frustrated by the defeat it suffered in the 2014 governorship poll.
