Austria Wien’s Kayode draws interest from England, Turkey

Austria Wien’s and Nigeria’s ex-junior international, Olarenwaju Kayode could join a club in England or Turkey, according to club’s sporting director Franz Wohlfahrt.
The Violets’ boss has hinted that the red-hot forward is drawing interests from English and Turkish sides
The former Nigeria youth international has been in blistering form for the Violets, netting 14 goals in all competitions this season.
Stoke City are reportedly one of the side interested in the 23-year-old, who is contracted to the Austrian side until the summer of 2019.
But securing a work permit for the former Maccabi Netanya hitman, who is yet to make an appearance for the Nigerian senior national team, is likely to be a stumbling block.
His team’s director stated that although teams have started showing interest, a move is not likely to be finalised considering the unsatisfactory offers tabled by the clubs in question.
“We have had inquiries from teams in England and Turkey for Kayode, but so far no offer has met our expectations,” Wohlfahrt was quoted by Stoke Sentinel. I do not believe a move will happen soon,” he concluded.
