Ogun set to upgrade MAPOLY to university of technology

Ogun State Government has concluded plans to upgrade Moshood Abiola Polytechnic to a university of technology.

This is coming just as the state government has however promised to establish another polytechnic in Ipokia, a town in the West Senatorial District of the state.

Making the disclosure in a televised interview on Wednesday was the Governor Ibikunle Amosun who stated that the necessary details are being worked out on how the plans would work out.

According to governor, the decision is aimed at spreading development across the nooks and crannies of the state.

He stated that with the move, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta will transform into Moshood Abiola University of Technology, while a new Ogun State Polytechnic will shift to Ipokia.
