Lagos NIPR honours Lagos speaker, Obasa at gala night

Lagos State chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations on Wednesday held its annual end of the year gala night at the Civic Centre Victoria Island, Lagos.
The event with the theme “Celebrating professional” was put together to honour stakeholders on the industry in the outgoing year through recognition awards.
Sone of those honoured include the Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Mudashiru Obasa, Chairman of Council of the institute, Dr. Rotimi Oladele.
Tagged, LaPRIGA, the event was a prestigious one that recognizes excellence in public relation practice in Nigeria marketing communication space.
La PRIGA is part of effort to market the practice and deepen stakeholder’s appreciation, understanding and deployment of public relation tolls in business and governance.
Highlight of the evening was the presentation of awards to some corporate bodies and individuals whose extraordinary acts of giving, sharing and loving have made a demonstrable difference in host communication or in the lives of special persons and to encourage more invest in the practice.
Amongst those present at the occassion were the chairman, Lagos state chapter NIPR Mr. Olusegun McMedal, amongst other dignitaries.
Established in 1963, Nigeria institute of public relations [NIPR] the professional body of qualified public relation practitioners, attained charter status in 1990 with decree 16 the federal public of Nigeria.
