Gosam Heights Nursery/ Primary School Holds  Carol Eve

The maiden edition of  Gosam Heights Nursery / Primary Carol Eve was held yesterday Thursday 15th December 2016  to mark Christmas

The event which was held  at the School Premises Santos Layout Lagos attracted Christmas colour from parents and school children   to sing carols in other to commemorate the purpose of christmas.

Speaking with Blackface correspondence shortly after the event, the proprietress of the school, Mrs Stella Orakpo expressed satisfaction for the successful hosting of the event.
On the purpose of the event, Orakpo said that it was to celebrate Christmas season with parents and for children to also know more about this season thereby showcasing what they have learnt to their parents.
According to her, ” Kingdom is the reason for this season as christian school, we key in ourselves into this vision of celebration.
She advised Christians to share what they have with one another and also show love by caring about their fellow friends, neighbours as well as people around them as this season entails.
When asked of her dreams towards the alma -mata, the proprietress disclosed that she would ensure that the pupils stand out as excellence people in Egbeda Akonwonjo area and outside.
” When we talk of excellence and poise learning, people look at Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Apapa, Lekki and Island as a whole but we can also have excellence learning in this area, we want to impact excellence on children to have a voice anyway they go in different parts of the world”..
While warning other School owners to avoid focusing on money as priority for setting up schools, as the school would not function properly, he urged them to help in building up Nigerian children by impacting integrity and qualitative education on them on their youthful age.
Mrs Olomo who is a mother to one of the pupil described the gesture as a welcome development, she said the gesture would impact knowledge on the children to know the real purpose of Christmas,even as she called on other schools to emulate the gesture.
Olomo who rated the standard of the school’s education as being high in learning hinted that she had seen numerous improvements on some children who were unable to perform well., which she said can now expressed themselves effectively.
A father, Mr. Emmanuel Etim  have this to say, ” the Carol Concert was beyond expectation. the children were self confident through learning and therefore exhibited their knowledge the the public”
He therefore called on the people to show love to one another.
Also speaking, pupils Bamgbola Ayobami and Juanita Aghahawa said they have really learnt alot from the concert especially the drama which they said showcased the birth of Christ.
People should live joyfully and happily as this would bring peaceful co- existence among other people. If we live peacefully in our society, there will be no war” they stated.
They commended their teachers for the opportunity offered to them to excel.
She also commended the standard of teacher employed to fefashion the children
