By Obinna Achi, Awka

Membes of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have launched a counter offensive against the much publicised Exercise Python Dance launched by the Nigerian Army to curb civil unrest in the South eastern part of the country.

According to IPOB members, the action is to show the Army that they were not the only people in the habit of coining words to intimidate people.

In statement made available to reporters in Awka, Anambra State, by IPOB’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, the group cautioned it’s members to exercise restraint on dealings with security agencies.

The release reads in parts, “IPOB worldwide advises the people of Biafran and IPOB members to be sure they don’t fall victim in the hands of the pharaohs’ soldiers called operation python dance in the south east”

“The IPOB devices a means of operation David dance which is recognized by the God Almighty in the Bible. It was the dance that gave David victory against Goliath at the battle front because God Almighty does not sleep”

“We are also aware that the world knows that the annual report from Amnesty international against the cold blooded killings of unarmed members of IPOB in Nigeria by the security agents are correct and even the soldiers knows that the reports were correct”

“There is no way you can denied something that happened in a broad daylight and every single individual saw how they killed people randomly in the streets”

“IPOB is properly organized group which adopted nonviolent approach towards the realization of God project and truth”

“God, the Almighty, is on the side of Biafran and He will liberate his people from the shackles of bondage” IPOB said.
