In a statement made available to our correspondent by the NANS- Joint Campus Committee chairman in Ondo state, Comrade Atolusi Anthony urged the governor-elect to ensure quick disbursement of funds to institutions in the state, adequate payment of bursary and scholarship as promised during his campaigns.
NANS Congratulates Akeredolu, urges him not to renege on his promises

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has congratulated the governor-elect of Ondo state, Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN on his victory at the poll, urging him not to fail in his campaign promises to the students.
He said: ” I know that some of your election promises was in regards to funding for our schools, up to date payment of salaries, bursary and scholarship, electricity for all, Security guarantee, good road network and many others. I urge you Mr. Governor elect not to forget all these promises.”
NANS describes the victory of Akeredolu as a well deserved one, stating that the clarity and practicability of his programmes and manifestoes necessitated his victory.
The student body assured Akeredolu of its cooperation with his government in his quest to transform the state.
“I would like to take the opportunity to express my strong hope that bilateral relations between your administration and the students – built on respect, understanding and friendship – will continue to expand in the years ahead across all areas of mutual interest.
“I firmly believe that you will create a truly memorable history in this state which will enhance solidarity among all levels in the state. At the same time, I also hope you will offer an excellent opportunity for millions of people from around the world to visit and invest in our hitch free Ondo state and get to know its culture better, as well as to strengthen friendly contacts with the citizens of the state.”
