Group drums up support for Oke, says AD candidate best for Ondo

A group, the Ondo Renaissance Group (ORG) has canvassed support for the candidate of the Alliance for Democracy in Saturday’s governorship poll in Ondo State, Chief Olusola Oke, saying he remains the best for the state.

According to the group in a statement it issued on Thursday, ORG said its decision is based on popular goodwill and the peoples desire for the transformation of Ondo state.

In the statement signed by its Coordinator, one Benjamin Idowu, Oke stands head and shoulder above every other contestant for the office of Governor of Ondo State.

“Chief Olusola Oke is an astute democrat, detribalized Nigerian, welfarist and progressive politician, grassroots mobilizer, seasoned administrator and technocrat of repute, legal luminary, philanthropist, deeply religious man, leader per excellence and a loving family man who has over the years excelled in all areas of endeavour locally, nationally and internationally.”

Idowu added that “Since his foray into politics, coupled with his flourishing legal business, Chief Olusola Oke has established himself as a proven, visionary, tested and trusted politician which continues to endear him to the good people of Ondo state and has been responsible for the massive followership which he enjoys across the state.

“Chief Olusola Oke, the Alliance for Democracy (AD) gubernatorial candidate is an experienced politician with indomitable track record who has used his campaign to relentlessly engage the people, by focusing on the critical areas of the their needs and aspirations in a way that has earned our admiration and we are willing to invest our confidence in him to direct affairs from Alagbaka House for the next four years.”
