EFCC docks Ogunlewe, UNAAB VC, others for N800 million fraud

As reported exclusively on Thursday by BLACKFACE, operatives of the Economic Financial and other Crimes Commission (EFCC) have docked a former Minister of Works, Prince Adeseye Ogunlewe and the Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Agriculture, Professor Olusola Oyewole for fraud.

Alongside others, the two were alleged to have siphon the sum of N800m from the coffers of the institution when Ogunlewe was the chairman of the Governing Council of the school.

Ogunlewe and others were arraigned with the Bursar of the institution, Mr. Moses Ilesanmi at a State High Court in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital on an 18-count charge of financial malpractices.

The anti-graft agency had sometimes in September questioned Ogunlewe at its Iyag‎anku, Ibadan, Oyo State office on the allegations contained in a petition written against him and some principal officers of the school by those who called themselves Concerned Stakeholders of the institution.
