Breaking News: Fani-Kayode granted N50m bail for alleged N26million fraud, to be remanded in Kuje Prison

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has today granted former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode who is facing N26million Naira money laundering charges bail.
Justice Tsho while ruling said “I have given due consideration to the applications before me.
 It is not only that the charges brought against the defendant are bailable but that bail is not an escape of justice. The courts are enjoined to be liberal in their approach to bail.
The defendant is hereby granted bail in the sum of N50m with one surety who shall present the document of a property in Abuja.
