President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress behind closed doors.
The meeting is holding inside the President’s office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is also attending the meeting.
The governors were led to the meeting by the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum who is also the governor of Imo State, Chief Rochas Okorocha.
A source in the presidency confided in Blackface News that the meeting was conveyed by President Buhari to explain to the governors why he did not consider their ambassadorial nominees.
Blackface News reports that President Buhari last week sent 46 non-career Ambassadors nominees to Senate for confirmation.
The governors, according to multiple sources, were not happy that all the nominees are unknown to them.
Some governors at the meeting include those of Ogun, Kogi, Kaduna, Edo, Zamfara, Benue, Sokoto and Kano among others.
Some state governors including Lagos and Nassarawa are being represented by their deputies.
