We Are Committed To Press Freedom ~NIMASA DG

The Director General Of Nigeria Maritime Administration And safety Agency, Dr. Dakuku Peterside has restated that the agency is committed to absolute press freedom and support , he stated this during the books presentation held in Lagos.
Dr. Peterside who was represented by Mrs Hannah Akpan identified the roles of the media to include sensitization of maritime industry economic development and other roles. He commended the author of the book, Mr Innocent Chukwu for actualising his ideas into books.
His Royal majesty ,Eze Ogbonna,  the traditional Ruler of Mogboko Okengwa Autonomous Community Obingwa, Abia State expressed satisfaction for the author’s dream which he said had made the people of Abia State proud.
“Innocent is not a lecturer yet, he has been able to bring out a good product for every knowledgeable people in the society irrespective of the class “.
The Author of the books titled “Strategic Marketing And Customer Relations ” and “Strategic Media Relations And Reputation Management “, Mr Innocent Chukwu said that owing to his realization that their talents and unused capacities or potentials must not be buried with them at death, as no man has ever achieved their full potential.
According to him, “I was able to locate this “Self or will “When I passed through the Nigerian Institute Of Public Relations (NIPR)  and after series of research,  I observed that many Nigerians are are at a loss how to engage their authentic beings in passionate vocations that can elevate their world and bring solutions to numerous society challenges..My experience at the NIPR fueled my desire to turn my hobby – writing into a vocation” he said.
Chukwu who is also maritime reporter implore all the Nigerian political leaders to seek to create a conducive environment for academic,  creative, social and motivational writers just as it is done in Nollywood, football, entertainment as well as tourism sectors.
While charging all the youths on reading culture, he however appealed to the government  at all levels to be seriously committed in providing employment opportunities even as he stated that the bet Naija Club Of gambling which he said occupied the minds of the youths is due to lack of jobs.
Reviewing the book Strategic Media Relations and Reputation Management (21st century media Relations and Information Management Techniques) the book reviewer Mr Oguwike Nwachukwu said that the book contained three hundred and sixty (360) pages, and ten (10) chapter which also identified four (4) elements in media relations strategic.
The second book was reviewed by Mr Nick Nwafor (publisher The leader online).
The books were also presented to the public.
