The governorship candidate of the Alliance for Democracy, AD, in the Ondo governorship race, Olusola Oke, has named a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Bola Ilori, as the Director General of his campaign.
His appointment came as the leadership of the APC vowed to investigate some members of the party on allegations of anti- party activities.
Mr. Ilori is also a loyalist of the national leader of the APC, Ahmed Tinubu, and he is from Ondo town in the centralsenatorial district.
Oke told Blackface News the choice of Oke was tenable because there was the need for “power balance”, noting that since the candidate is from the south and his deputy is from the north, the DG campaign should come from the central.
He disclosed that the campaign strategies were being worked out, and the party would launch out as soon as the structures were ready.
