Ekiti Assembly Member Empowers Constituents With Cash, Motorcycle, Among Other Items

A member of Ekiti State House of Assembly, representing the good people of Ido/Osi Constituency 2, Hon. Abiola Samuel Jeje has empowered no fewer than one hundred (100) people in his constituency.
The beneficiaries were youths, widows, aged-people, ward coordinators, party loyalists amongst others in a bid to economically empower and assist them.
While speaking at the event that took place at Ayetoro-Ekiti today, Hon. Jeje appreciated the support the people of Ido/Osi constituency 2, particularly the residents of Ayetoro-Ekiti have given him, Governor Ayodele Fayose and the People Democratic Party, PDP led government in the state, the lawmaker said that the gesture was a way of thanking them, saying that another empowerment programme, which would be on a higher scale, would take place later in the year.
He assured the people that their interest will be protected in the distribution of constituency projects and programmes, adding that he has already embarked on different programme to identify with his constituents in order to make life meaningful for them.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, Pastor Kola Oluwawole, who chaired the ceremony, hailed the lawmaker for giving back to the people who stood by him in the course of electioneering campaign, particularly, the poor masses, urged him to keep the tempo.
The Speaker assured the people of Ayetoro-Ekiti and Ido/Osi  constituency 2 that Hon. Samuel Jeje will never disappoint nor abondon all his promises, urged the people of the area to keep on supporting him and People Democratic Party, PDP government in the state.
Dignitaries at the occassion today were the Speaker of the Ekiti State House of assembly, Right Hon. Kola Oluwawole, Hon. Dayo Maxima from Ijero constituency, Hon. Alayode Omotosho from Ido/Osi constituency 11, Hon. Akinyele Tunji from Oye Constituency 1 and the chairman Ido-Osi local government, Chief Femi Arogbodo.
Others were the Chairman of the Local Government Service Commission, Arch. Sola Omotosho, immediate past chairman of the PDP in the state, Comrade Idowu Faleye, state . Commissioner for health, Dr Ojo Gbenga and his counterpart in the ministry of works, Mrs Funmi Ogun among others.
