Two Leading Governorship Aspirants, Chief Olusola Oke and Prof Ajayi Borofice giving a joint press conference at the NUJ press centre, Akure the state capital on their position over the submission of Rotimi Akeredolu‘s name to Independent National electoral Commission (INEC) by the All Progressives Congress (APC) despite a majority vote by the party’s National Working Committee against such move.

The two governorship aspirants kicked against the move warning that the party would witness a mother of all defection should the move is not reversed with immediate effect.

Oke had earlier in a meeting today told his supporter that he would defect to Action Alliance (AA) if the decision is not reversed within twenty four hours.
