Lagos State Governor, Akinwumi Ambode yesterday stormed one of the popular commercial areas of the state, Oshodi to commission a legislative building named after late Habibat Mogaji, the mother of a former Governor of the state and National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

School Uniform, Biro, Pencil and Exercise Books were also distributed to 17,000 pupils in the local government.

Ambode was represented at the event by his Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure Development, Mr. Ganiyu Johnson.

The one storey building built by the Management of Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Area was commissioned and dedicated to the glory of God and for the benefit of mankind.

The elated Sole Administrator of the Local Government Mr. Taoheed Adebayo Taiwo said the project was conceived so as to add value to the business of lawmaking and for administration convenience in the council area.

Dignitaries who greeted the event included the Commissioner for Local Government and Community Development, Mr. Musiliu Tolani, Permanent Secretaries of the Ministry Of Works And Local Government and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Community Development, Mr. Yakubu Quadri.

Others are the Elewu of Ewu land, Osolo of Isolo and Baales of Mafoluku and Shogunle and a Chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), M.C Oluomo.

Members and Supporters of the APC in the council area made the event colourful by singing and drumming to the admiration of the public.
