Aftermath of primaries, Ondo APC youths call for reconciliation

A youth group within the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Progressives Youth League has described the victory of the gubernatorial candidate of the party in the just concluded primary election, Rotimi Akeredolu as divine.

 

A statement by the group’s Coordinator, Adebowale Akinlosotu, said the primary election was the most credible and most transparent in the history of election in the state.

 

It urged all other aspirants to support Akeredolu saying in a family contest there is ‘No Victor, No Vanquish.

 

The statement pleaded with the National Leadership of the Party to call all the aspirants together for a round table meeting to placate those aspirants who are still aggrieved with the outcome of the poll.

 

The group noted that there is no election in the whole world that could be completely perfect, appealing to the aspirants to see themselves as one in order to  be able to send away the ‘monster’ in Alagbaka.

 

The statement believed the coming together of all the aspirants would facilitate victory for the APC in theNovember 26.

 

It noted that the progressives should unite to form the next government in the state by February next year.
