President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the composition of the governing boards of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).
The appointment was contained in a statement issued by the office of the Secretary to the Federation(SGF).
According to the statement, the appointment obtained by BLACKFACE in Lagos on Saturday, the Nigeria Ports Authority has Emmanuel OlajideAdesoye as its new Chairman while other members include a former Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State, Mr. Supo Shasore.
Other members of the NPA include Suleiman Ibrahim Halilu; Constance Harry Mashal, Umar Shu’aibu; Charles Efe EmukowhateSylvester; Hadiza Bala Usman; Mohammed Bello Koko; Dr. SekonteDavis; Professor IdrisAbubakar and Mrs. I. J. Uche-Okoro.
For NIMASA, the new chairman is Major General Jonathan India Garba while the members include, a former spokesman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, Mr. Rotimi Fashaki.
Others are Asekomhe OaakhiaKenneth; Mohammed Gidado Muazu; Hon. Barrister EbeleObi; S. U. Galadanchi; Ms Nene Betty Dike; Dakuku Peterside; Rear Admiral AdeniyiOsinowo; Bashir Yusuf Jimoh and Gambo Ahmed.
