Ondo 2016: Jegede emerges PDP gets governorship candidate

The immediate past Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Ondo State, Eyitayo Jegede have been elected by delegates as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the forthcoming governorship election slated for November this year.

At the primaries that took place in Akure, the state capital on Monday, Jegede, secured a total of 760 votes to beat his closest rival, Mr. Saka Lawal who polled 22 votes.
