I’ll abide by outcome of PDP reconciliation moves, says Dokpesi

A contender for the National Chairmanship of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Raymond Dokpesi has promised to abide by the outcome of current reconciliation efforts being worked out by the party’s reconciliation committee headed by Professor Jerry Gana.Speaking with Journalists at the secretariat of the National Caretaker Committee of the party where he had gone to submit his nomination form on Friday, Dokpesi said he would abide by whatever decision is reached to resolve the leadership crisis in the party.

“I believe there is no price that is too high for the unity of the party. No sacrifice is too much for the sake of the party”.

Dokpesi who arrived the Secretariat of the National Caretaker Committee at exactly5:30 pm to submit his nomination form, was accompanied by his Chief Campaign Manager, Shehu Gabam and other members of his campaign organization.

Addressing party members, he said he would be ready to partner with any arrangement that would help rebuild the party and foster unity amongst its members.

He said it is important not for the sake of PDP but for the sake of deepening democracy in the country.

On the issue of micro-zoning, Dokpesi reaffirmed that he’s very much in the race to win it.

Dokpesi submitted his form at exactly 5:45 pm, handing it over to Head of Information, Chinwe Nnorom, who said she had the mandate of the screening committee to receive it from Dokpesi.
