Obaseki scores Oshiomhole high in projects, assures on human capital development

By Tony Ehighiale, Benin City

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Edo state, Mr Godwin Obaseki has scored Governor Adams Oshiomhole well in Education, roads and infrastructures.

Obaseki however promised to focus more in human capital development of the people of the state if voted in as governor.

Oshiomhole has described the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as an easy to beat at the election, saying however that the party will adopt a new message in the event that Matthew Iduoriyekemwen becomes the candidate of the party.

The governor who pointed out that founding leaders of the PDP are dumping the PDP every day for the APC due to the emergence of Ize-Iyamu, asserted that “For us we are done with Ize-Iyamu because it is clear that the retired god fathers want to use him as a conduit pipe where they can continue to loot the state treasury. But they have failed, Edo people cannot go back to Egypt”.
