Buhari lauds Ogun over developmental strides, visionary leadership

President Muhammadu Buhari has applauded the developmental strides achieved in Ogun State under the leadership of Senator Ibikunle Amosun. Speaking through his Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly Matters, Senator Solomon Ita Enang on Monday, Buhari stated that the massive developments in the state is exceptional and can only be achieved by a visionary leadership. 

Enang who represented his boss spoke at the church service organized for the late Olori Josephine Amope Dada, who was the mother of Senator Gbolahan Dada representing Ogun West Senatorial District at St. James Cathedral Church, Sango-Ota, Ogun State. 

The President submitted that the leadership qualities and experiences garnered by Governor Ibikunle Amosun as senator are being put to use adding that these qualities are also manifesting in the life of the Finance Minister, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun who is also from the state. 

Earlier in his speech, Governor Amosun described the deceased as a woman of great virtue and legacies of love to humanities which are worthy of emulation. 

He urged Nigerian especially women to emulate the lifestyle of the deceased saying even though she was the wife of a prominent monarch; she was still able to manage her home as well as royalty by giving her children the best training and raising them up in the fear of God.
