Poll: Ondo APC chair assures on peaceful, transparent primaries

The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reiterated its determination to ensure that the choice of members becomes the governorship candidate of the party. 

This is coming just as the party also debunked the rumour that the leadership it has a favourite candidate. 

State chairman of the party, Mr. Isaac Kekemeke gave the assurance in Akure, the state capital while receiving the N2m APC Development Fund from the lawmaker representing Owo/Ose Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Dr Bode Ayorinde. 

According to him, individual contestants should go out and work by mobilising the delegates that will decide their fate in the primary election. 

He assured that there would be a level-play ground for all aspirants, stressing that the election would be acceptable to all and sundry. 

The chairman received Ayorinde’s cheque through the State Administrative Secretary of the party, Smart Omodunbi. 

He thanked the lawmaker who is also the founder of Achievers University, Owo for his support to the growth of the party in the state.
