CAF picks NFF scribe as match commissioner for AFCON qualification tie

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed the Secretary General of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF General Secretary), Mohammed Sanusi, as match commissioner for the 2017 Africa U20 Cup of Nations qualifier between Ghana and Senegal, scheduled for Accra on 23rd July 2016.

Sanusi will work with Togolese officials, including referee Kouassi Attisso Attiogbe, assistant referees Cherif Mollah Banna and Adam Moukaila Biyao, and reserve referee Kokou Ognankotan Ntale.

It is the same weekend that the Nigeria U20, Flying Eagles, will host Sudan in a second leg of the final qualifying round. The Flying Eagles, reigning African champions, will be away to Sudan on 9th July.

Ghana’s Black Satellites, champions of the world in 2009, will be away to Senegal on 10th July.
