Keshi was a super hero, says NFF president

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Mr. Amaju Pinnick has paid tribute to ex-Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi, who passed away on Wednesday morning.

Pinnick stated via the official Twitter page of the Nigeria Football Federation: “Keshi was a superhero. His death is a big loss to Nigeria as a nation, not only to Nigeria football.”

Keshi began his professional career with ACB Lagos, followed by spells with New Nigeria Bank, Stade d’Abidjan and Africa Sports in Ivory Coast.

In Europe, he played for Lokeren,Anderlecht, RC Strasbourg and RWDM before moving to the United States, where he represented CCV Hydra and Sacramento Scorpions.
