VP meets service chiefs, governors over N’Delta crisis

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo has met behind closed doors with service chiefs and some state governors from the Niger Delta region of the country. 

Osinbajo who is the acting President held the meeting his office on Tuesday at the Conference Hall. 

As at the time of filing this report state governors at the meeting include those from Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta, Ondo, Edo and Abia. 

Also at the meeting are the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu and the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Usani Uguru. 

The meeting is still in progress at the time of filing this report.
