Buhari mourns as Kabba monarch dies

President Muhammadu Buhari has joined other Nigerians in commiserating with the family of late Obaro of Kabba kingdom, Oba Michael Folorunsho Olobayo who passed on last week.  

The president in a statement endorsed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, also extended his condolences to Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the entire people of the state on the loss of their eminent son and revered monarch. 

In the statement obtained by BLACKFACE on Tuesday noted that the past 30 years the late monarch’s ascension to the throne have witnessed peace and remarkable advancements in Kabba. 

President Buhari who extolled the late monarch’s virtues also commended the deceased whom he praised for his invaluable contributions to the development of the entire Kogi State.
