Oyo Assembly receives list of new caretaker committee chairmen for councils

Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly have received the names of nominees for the 33 local government caretaker committee chairmen.


The names were last week received by the Speaker of the House, Hon. Micheal Adeyemo who while reading the letter received from the governor at plenary stated that the names were yet to be ratified as the names will be subjected to screening by the House Committee on Local Government.


At plenary on Tuesday, Adeyemo added that the reports of the committees would determined the final ratification, adding that all nominees are expected to submit 40 copies of their Curriculum Vitae to the clerk of the assembly.


The names of the 33 transition committee chairman includes; Afijio; Lukman Anwo, Akinyele; Opeyemi Salami, Atiba;Okeniyi Gbolagade, Atisbo; Ogundeji Ayoola, Egbeda; Ademola Adewuyi, Ibadan North; Yinka Akinbode, Ibadan North East; Lekan Afuye, Ibadan North West; Wasiu Olatunbosun, Ibadan South East; Nojeem Abass, Ibadan South West; Rauf Folarin, Ibarapa Central; Azeez Oladejo, Ibarapa East; Adelore Atanda, Ibarapa North; Tunji Omolewu, Iddo; Wahab Oladejo, Irepo; Yekeen Popoola, Iseyin; Saheed Alaran, Itesiwaju; Niyi Adeagbo, Iwajowa; S.M Egunjobi, kajola; Moses Babalola.
