Babatunde scores on Raja Casablanca debut

Super Eagles midfielder, Michael Babatunde, scored for Raja Casablanca on his official debut for the Moroccan Botola Pro side in Friday’s 1-1 draw with FUS Rabat.

 

Yusupha Njie put FUS Rabat ahead in the 46th minute before Babatunde restored parity for the three-time African champions in the second half, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The attacking midfielder outpaced his marker before blasting a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper in the 66thminute.

Fellow Nigerian international, Osaguona Ighodaro, is still recovering from injury and did not take part in the game played at Stade Mohamed V (Casablanca).
