The Benin crown prince, Eheneden Erediauwa is set to move to his traditional palace in the town of Uselu.

 

The new ultral modern popularly called, Holy Aruosa cathedra in Benin City was on Sunday commissioned by the prince who is the Edaiken N’Uselu.

 

The building was donated to the indigenous church in the ancient city by the Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Pius Odubu.

 

Represented by the Oliha of Benin kingdom, the Crown Prince expressed joy at the honor done on the Aruosa cathedral.

 

He said “This is an everlasting event; it is a thing of duty to be joyful about. We are praying that somebody who has been to be able to do this, we pray God that whatever he is looking for on earth will not be scarce from him; God will continue to bless him. He will use him to bless others; he will be a blessing to his generation.”

 

Also speaking, the officiating priest Ohen Harrison Okao stated that “I am happy that this is happening in my time. I am very happy and I pray that God grants him his heart desire. Not that Odubu is a rich person but he is somebody who loves to give, he is loyal to God,loyal to the palace and the people.”

 

The chief priest of the Holy Arousa, Okao also urged the congregation to pray for the crown prince as he prepares to move to Uselu, his traditional Palace after his official retirement as a career Ambassador.

 

In his remarks, Odubu said he was motivated to do it for the sake of the Benin ” Well for me as a proud Benin man, whatever we have belongs to the palace of the Oba of Benin.
