Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Alhaji Abdulkadir Fanini has dismissed insinuations making the rounds suggesting that the suspension of one of the sons of the immediate past governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido Mustapha

from his traditional title of Santurakin Dutse and District head of Bamaina was politically motivated.

Fanini explained that the directive is under the civil service rule number 04301 and 0412 which says “any public servant who is standing trial on criminal case should be suspended until the determination of the case”.

He noted that “the directive is in order and no any political motivation to the ex-governor’s son who is also the Dokajin Dutse and District head of Kiyawa, the duo are standing trial on alleged money laundering charges.
